Updated over a month ago

What’s New

Introduction

The Access Definitiv version 3.21 release introduces a number of enhancements to rostering and reporting areas of the product.

These enhancements have been introduced to add additional functionality and features for all users.

Rostering

  • The Roster Day Exclusion feature allows you to customize your roster views by hiding specific days of the week that are not part of your organisation's working schedule. Excluding days only hides them from view - all existing roster entries remain safely stored in the system. For more information, read the Help Centre article Roster Day Exclusion and Hide Feature.

  • The Refresh Costs button logic has been updated, and the button will be enabled or disabled depending on the user's view roster costs permission and also the ‘show costs’ display option setting.

Reporting

  • New Report - Employee Audit Report

This is a new, comprehensive grid-based reporting tool that provides detailed audit trails for employee-related changes. The report uses the Effective Date mode to filter records based on when changes took effect. For more information, read the Help Centre article Employee Audit Report - User Guide.

  • Leave Applications Report

A Submitted by field has been added, enabling you to report on who submitted the Leave request. If the Leave application was submitted by the employee, you will see self in the field; or if the Leave application was submitted on behalf of the employee, you will now see the person’s name who submitted the request.

  • Timesheets Report

Start Time and Finish Time fields have been added to the report. These will be visible by default, allowing you to view both the times and duration information of timesheets.

  • Rostering Report

The Employee Number field has been added to the report to allow for greater employee identification when viewing the report. This field will be displayed by default after the Employee field.
