What's New
The Access Definitiv 3.23 release introduces a number of enhancements to the Timesheet area of the product.
These enhancements have been introduced to add additional functionality and features for all users.
Rostering by Project
A new "Select Auto-Assign Project" dropdown has been added to the Roster Visibility settings, allowing users to select a default project from the list of defined projects for that roster; that will be used to default the project costing when new shifts are created in the roster, thereby reducing manual editing of shift project costing assignments. Refer to the updated Help Guide, Restrict employees visible in a Roster based on a Project.
Timesheets
You will now be able to attach photos or images to timesheets, making it easy to provide supporting documentation or evidence of work completed. Requires configuration of security permissions. Refer to the Timesheet photo and image attachments article.
You will now have greater control over Timesheet Auto Approvals with new settings to control whether manual timesheets, timeclock timesheets, are allowed to be sent for auto approval. Requires configuration. Refer to Enhanced Timesheet Auto Approval with Source Control Help Guide
Reports
Leave Applications Report: Added a Submitted by field, enabling you to report on who submitted the Leave request. If the Leave application was submitted by the employee, you will see ‘self’ in the field; or if the Leave application was submitted on behalf of the employee, you will now see the person’s name who submitted the request.
