Set up employees to only be paid for actual hours worked

Yes, it can be set up in Definitiv so that employees are only paid for the shifts they have worked, where there is an approved timesheet entry.

The Mandatory Timesheet Policy section allows customers to define employees or groups of employees who are required to submit timesheets to be paid for those shifts.

This means that if an employee has been rostered on to work shifts Monday through Friday but does not have timesheets or leave submitted for Thursday and Friday, then they will only be paid for Monday through Wednesday.

Note: How employees are paid for their timesheet entries will be determined by the award policy.
