Unsubmitted Timesheets report

Updated over 3 months ago

Introduction

The Unsubmitted Timesheets report can be accessed under Employees/My Team.

For data to show up in the Unsubmitted Timesheets report, the following conditions need to be met;

  • A Mandatory Timesheet Policy is in effect for the reporting period that requires an employee or group of employees to submit timesheets.

  • The employees who are required to submit timesheets have been scheduled either through the work schedule or the roster, and

  • No time and attendance entries that correspond with their scheduled shifts exist.

For more information, read the Mandatory Timesheet Policy feature article.

What time and attendance entries count?

A scheduled shift will not show on the Unsubmitted Timesheets report if an employee has submitted the following;

  • A timesheet that commences on the same day as the start time of a scheduled shift

  • Leave has been applied for the same day that the scheduled shift starts

Please note, if an employee has submitted a leave application with a partial day with no timesheet for the remaining hours, then an entry will still show under Unsubmitted Timesheets for the employee.

The unsubmitted timesheet data is reduced by the overlapping leave hours.

For example, the employee’s scheduled shift is 8.00am to 4.00pm. Their leave application is from 8.00am to 12.00pm. An unsubmitted timesheet is shown for 4 hours.
