Organisation Short Codes

Updated over 3 months ago

Definitiv has been enhanced from the version 3.8 release to include an organisation short code setting found in Admin, Configuration, Organisation Settings, General [TAB].

This feature has been added to easily identify organisation names in modules such as Teams and Rostering where an organisation’s legal name is often too long to be displayed within the user interface.

We will continue to add the organisation short code to additional areas within Definitiv.

Set up Organisation Short Code

  1. Go to Admin, Configuration, Organisation Settings, General [TAB].

  2. Enter a short code to identify the organisation easily. E.g. DEF123.

Note: Organisation short codes are designed to be short and therefore cannot be more than 8 characters long.

When no organisation short code is entered, the user interface will default back to the organisation legal name in Admin, Configuration, Organisation Details, Organisation Details[TAB].
