You can clock off an employee who is terminated if they forget to. We always suggest when you terminate an employee that you run the timeclock status report first and ensure that the employee is not clocked on. You can find this report in Reporting, TimeClock Reporting, TimeClock Status.
When an employee forgets to clock off after they have left your company which results in the current time clock status of Exceeds 24 hours, you can manually clock the employee off and then apply a correction to the timesheet. This avoids you contacting us to action the clock off on your behalf, which is a chargeable service.
Complete the following steps to manually clock off a terminated employee.
Download the Definitiv Timeclock app, which you can do on your personal smartphone and/or iPad.
Navigate to the employee profile and remove the termination date.
Enter the employee number on the TimeClock app and clock the employee off.
Go to the employee's timesheets and manually amend or add to the relevant timesheet.
Go to the employee profile and re-terminate the employee.
