Updated over 2 months ago

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I attach multiple photos to one timesheet?

Currently, you can only attach one (1) image per timesheet (maximum 10MB). To attach a different image, you'll need to replace the existing attachment.

What happens to my TimeClock attachment when the timesheet is created?

The attachment is copied to the timesheet. The original TimeClock attachment is preserved separately, and changes to the timesheet attachment don't affect the original.

Can I attach PDFs or other document types to my timesheet?

No, currently only image files (JPEG, PNG) are supported. If you have a PDF invoice, take a screenshot or photo of it.

Why can't I see the Attach button in Personal Timeclock?

You need the "Add Attachment to Personal TimeClock Events" permission enabled by your system administrator. Contact them if you require access.

Can I add attachments to approved timesheets?

No, once a timesheet is approved, attachments become read-only and cannot be modified. This protects the integrity of approved financial records.

How large can my photo attachments be in timesheets?

The maximum file size is 10MB per attachment. The system automatically compresses images for optimal storage while maintaining sufficient quality for readability. Your original filename is preserved when uploading.

Are my attachments secure in timesheets?

Yes, all attachments are:

  • Encrypted at rest in secure storage.

  • Protected by user permissions.

  • Included in regular backup procedures.

  • Subject to audit logging for all access and modifications.

What happens if I don't have network connectivity when uploading to timesheets?

If you're offline when trying to upload:

  • The upload will fail with a network error.

  • You can retry once connectivity is restored.

  • Consider uploading when you have stable internet access.
