Definitiv Payroll Data:
The Definitiv application is hosted and managed within the secure Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud computing infrastructure.
As an extra safeguard, all of Definitiv’s data on AWS is secured in Australian Data centres only and encrypted at rest to ensure data is protected in all circumstances.
AWS has certification for compliance with ISO/IEC 27001:2013, 27017:2015, 27018:2014, and ISO/IEC 9001:2015.
Personal TimeClock on the Definitiv app:
Definitiv captures the GPS location of an employee when they register an event via the Personal TimeClock. Definitiv does not capture the employee’s location when there is no activity or events being registered.
If using the Personal TimeClock and the employee has the ALLOW LOCATION SERVICES/ACCESS as Never in the Definitiv iOS app or the Location as disabled under App Permissions on an Android device then Definitiv cannot capture any GPS location.
However, if location settings have been disabled for the app, the employee will not be able to access the Personal TimeClock feature.
If using the TimeClock iOS app on an iPad, allowing location access is optional and will be determined by the Company on set up and guidance to them on training on how to enable/disable location access.
