If an employee has paid off their HECS Loan debt and has submitted a Withholding Declaration to update you, you will need to follow the steps below to update this information in the system.
- Navigate to the Employee's Profile, Tax Information, and Assign Tax Information. 
- You will then enter the relevant date and update the answer for Do you have a Higher Educations Loan Program (HELP) or Trade Support (TSL) Loan. 
- You will also need to select Yes for Signature Present and click Save. 
- Once completed, the PAYG will then be calculated at the new rate within the next pay run. 
- You will also need to keep a copy of the Withholding Declaration Form in case the ATO asks you for proof in the future.
