July 2026 - New Zealand - Access Definitiv v1.38

The Access Definitiv 1.38 New Zealand (NZ) update will be available on 16 July 2026.

Overview

Enhancements

Performance improvements

Ported a series of database query and background job efficiency improvements from the AU codebase to the NZ platform. These changes address long-running transactions and inefficient queries that were impacting platform stability. There is no change to functionality.

Fixes and Enhancements

  • Resolved an issue where pay run calculations failed with an error during Relevant Daily Pay (RDP) resolution for employees on FBAPS leave pay. This occurred when backpay produced zero-unit items for a given day, causing a calculation failure. Affected pay runs can be recalculated without any workaround required.

  • Resolved an issue where automatic breaks were not being applied to timesheets generated from TimeClock clock-on/off events when the timesheet was flagged as requiring manual intervention. Breaks will now always be populated automatically, regardless of intervention status, so approvers have the correct break information available when reviewing.

  • Resolved an issue where users with Federated SSO enabled were unable to complete a 2FA reset. The 2FA reset flow now completes correctly for SSO-whitelisted users.

  • Performance fix addressing long-running transactions and inefficient database queries

  • Updated the lodash JavaScript library to address two security vulnerabilities in the NZ platform.
