To better protect an employee’s personal information, the span of the View basic Employee Details and Contact details permission has been reduced, with new granular permissions being added from Definitiv version 3.13.
What Has Changed?
Permission Name Change
The View basic Employee Details and Contact details is now the View Basic Employee Details permission.
Employee Master Record UI Change
The table below outlines the changes in what fields can be viewed on the employee master record with this updated permission;
Employee Number

New Permissions
With the reduction of scope for the View Basic Employee Details, the below new permissions have been added;
View Employee Contact Email
This permission provides a user with the ability to see any data in the following fields on the master record:
Primary Email
Other Email
Email within the Account Details
View Employee Contact Phone
This permission provides a user with the ability to see any data in the following fields on the master record:
Home Phone
Mobile Phone
Other Phone
View Employee Contact Address
This permission provides a user with the ability to see any data in the following fields on the master record:
Home Street Address
Other Street Address
View Employee Date of Birth
This permission provides a user with the ability to see any data in the following fields on the master record:
Employee’s Date of Birth
X days to birthday in the mobile app
View Employee Gender
This permission provides a user with the ability to see any data in the following fields on the master record:
Employee’s Gender
