Hit the Run button once the sheet has been completed.
A message to save the file will appear.
Enter the file address manually to save the file to; however, please note that most organisations do not allow write access on the C Drive directly, therefore save to a folder you have access to, or go to file explorer, and under This PC select OS (C:).
Open the folder and select Users.
Select your user name.
Right-click the bar at the top and select copy address as text.
View the spreadsheet and highlight C: and paste the address.
This will save the file ready for import.
To import the file
Open the applicable pay run and hit the import button at the top.
Select the Line Items option.
Locate the line item imports.
Select open, and the line items will import and automatically recalculate the employees contained in the import spreadsheet.
To check if the file has been imported
To ensure the import was successful, the following reports can be checked:
Run the Pay Runs report and filter by pay run. This is recommended for larger imports that contain a lot of employees.
For smaller imports, we recommend running the Pay Items totals report or the Employees by pay items report.
