From Definitiv version 3.10, a new percentage calculation option for many pay item types is available.
When creating or updating an applicable pay item, an option called Percentage of Superable Pay Items is now available.
With the addition of this new percentage checkbox, the standard Percentage checkbox has been updated to Percentage of Selected Pay Items.

How it Works
If this checkbox is selected, the pay item will calculate on the values produced by other pay items that have the Superable checkbox selected.
This means that if you need to calculate on all items marked as Superable, you now only select this one checkbox, instead of individually selecting pay items with the Percentage of Selected Pay Items. This will help to reduce the risk of human error in the setup and ongoing maintenance.
In the case of a super based pay item, once it has been set up, the percentage rate to be applied can be set on the Superannuation tab of the employee master record.
In the case of a deduction pay item, as another example, the percentage rate to be applied can be set on the Additions and Deductions tab on the employee master record.
Once set up for an employee, these will automatically flow through to the pay run if an employee receives amounts for pay items marked as superable.
