Pay Items that accrue leave in Leave Policies

There are two types of Leave Policies:

  • Fixed percentage

  • Entitlement period

The type of policy can be reviewed within the setup of the leave policy in Admin, Policies, Leave Policies.

Fixed rate

  • The Percentage Rate is the rate at which an employee will accrue leave.

  • The Applicable Pay Items contain all the pay items when paid to an employee they will accrue leave based on the rate specified.
    ​

Entitlement period

  • An Entitlement Period can be created with the option to add a custom time duration

  • A rate can be specified for the setup custom Entitlement Period

  • The Applicable Pay Items contain all the pay items when paid to an employee, they will accrue leave based on the rate specified.
