Things to consider when moving approvers/managers
There is not an option to reassign the pending requests to the new manager.
When a manager has been changed for an employee, the pending requests do not get reassigned to the new manager.
The default approver in the system will be able to assist in this circumstance, or new submissions can be added, and they will be directed to the new manager.
Note: Approvals are driven by the submission date. If you modify an approver's position and reporting structure today, any submissions directed to them before the update remain their responsibility.
